Many celebrities took part in Swachh
Bharat mission, started by PM Narendra Modi, aiming a clean India and
inspired many. Now Manchu Lakshmi has been selected as Telangana's brand
ambassador for the mission. She will be felicitated at Rashtrapathi
Bhavan on September 10th amid famous personalities.
Expressing
her happiness over this rare honor, Lakshmi said that she has already
been participating in several social causes with inspiration from PM
Narendra Modi. She further stated that this honor has made
her more responsible and that she will strive hard to make Telangana
dirt free and turn it into Swachh Telangana. The actress also thanked
Modi for bestowing this special honor upon her and said that she feels
lucky to be honored by the President of India.
