The benchmark BSE Sensexplunged over 400 points on Friday, giving up gains from the previous session on weak global cues and caution ahead of a decisive US jobs report due later in the day.

Sensex plunged to over one-year lows after falling by 421 points in late morning deals to 25,343.94 following heavy selling in the absence of any triggers looming the sentiments.

Lower Asian cues ahead of the key US non-farm payroll data also weighed on market sentiment.
