The Education Edition is finally available to everyone. Now the educational version finally releases to the general public at large. Through this version educators can now download lesson plans and tools through a Minecraft Mentors program. The gallery has subjects such as geography, geometry, history, and more to read with clearly identifiable tags for age groups and topic.

The preview version of Microsoft’s Minecraft: Education Edition had most of the features but the full version includes the anticipated Classroom Mode. It’s a special version of game designed for schools. It’s an easy to use admin solace that the teachers can use a app to interact with their students. Over 50,000 students and administrators assisted in creating the Minecraft: Education Edition and it's now available in 11 different languages and 50 countries around the world. Minecraft: Education Edition is available at $5 per user annually. The game is also available through with a volume licensing discount to the schools. Microsoft offers a dedicated website for educators at education.minecraft.net

Microsoft has ready to pay $26.2 billion to acquire LinkedIn, Microsoft said in a statement. The price is at a fat premium of LinkedIn's recent trading value of $100-$130 a share, but a discount to its 2015 all time high above $270. LinkedIn is in a unprofitable notwithstanding promptly growing sales. LinkedIn has also faced ignominious, large-scale and potentially costly security contravention. In an statement, Microsoft called LinkedIn as the world's largest and most valuable professional network with innovative online learning platform-Lynda.com, enterprise recruitment software platform Recruiter and mobile apps. LinkedIn gloat 'more than 433 members worldwide' up 19 % over a year ago and 105 million distinctive visiting members per month, up 9 % and fast-growing mobile usage and job listings. Microsoft and LinkedIn boards have approved the proposal subject to ratification by LinkedIn shareholders. LinkedIn will report as part of Microsoft's business processes segment. Microsoft said the deal won't turn profitable for the company until 2019.

Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella delivered a topic on innovation for India Microsoft at Tech for Good, Ideas for India' event at Delhi on Monday. The event was organised with young students, entrepreneurs and developers. Jayant Sinha (Minister of State for Finance) was also attended the event and welcomed the India-focused innovation that Nadella offered. The event was intended to stimulate young students, entrepreneurs and developers in India to innovate for the nation. Nadella said the visit to had inspired him, with quickly changing scenery of 'Digital India'. Nadella started his topic with a quote by the Indian poet Ghalib, 'Hazaaron khwahishen aisi ho ke har khwahish pe dam nikle, Bohat niklay mere armaan, lekin phir bhi kam nikle' says about the dreams that were worth dying for. One of these dreams was to use digital technology as a force for good.

Nadella also said about the numerous transformations technology has seen in recent and the numerous transformations it would continue to see as it became more human-centric, from conversation as a platform to perfect interval actuality and machine learning. Nadella also bring out the youth aim development initiatives that the company had undertaken in the recent past in India, such as  The Imagine Cup, Academia Accelerator and YouthSpark. Redmond Giant at the event also exhibit two new innovations that are applicable for India.

Nadella also said these are Spot Garbage a real time garbage management system that won the Imagine Cup and uses machine learning and vision techniques and Life Saver an application that was developed as part of the Academia Accelerator programme. Sensitive to the symptoms of a heart attack, Lifesaver is meant to detect and alert users and their contacts about an forthcoming heart attack.

The Andhra Pradesh government will sign a MoU with software giant Microsoft on Monday to work towards establishing a technologically advanced and knowledge-based economy.
The MOU will be signed when Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella meets Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu here on Monday over breakfast.
Under the MoU, Microsoft will support Andhra Pradesh in building of up to three proof-of-concept (POC) solutions in the fields of education, agriculture and eCitizen services. The government will utilize Microsoft’s Azure Machine Learning and Advanced Visualization lab technology for predictive analytics. This technology will act as a major catalyst for achieving sustainable doubt-digit growth and better public services, said a statement from the chief minister’s office.
Meanwhile, Microsoft has also offered assistance in cloud technology and will provide training to the government officials for the better functioning in agriculture, education and citizen services.
Satya, who is visiting the home town to attend a family function, will also visit T-Hub, billed as India’s largest technology incubator developed by the Telangana government.
He will be taken around the facility, where he will also addressed budding entrepreneurs. Telangana’s IT Minister K. Tarakarama Rao and other officials will brief him about the T-Hub, launched last month.
At the request of Microsoft CEO, the state government is organising the event at low key. The government has also dropped its earlier plans to release the IT policy on the occasion.
The IT minister had earlier said that Nadella will unveil IT, innovation, gaming and animation and hardware policies.
This will be Satya’s second visit to the city where he grew up, after taking over as the head of the global software giant last year.
The 47-year-old, during his first visit in September last year, had met Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao. Tarakarama Rao had also called on Satya during his own visit to the US in May this year.
Microsoft has its India Development Centre here since 1998. It is the largest facility of Microsoft outside its headquarters in Redmond, US.
But there was no word if Nadella will be visiting the development centre.
