Andhra Pradesh CM N Chandrababu Naidu has appealed to the USTDA (US Trade Development Agency) team led by Richard Verma US Ambassador to India, provide best of the technology and good ideas which his government would implement in right perspective. Addressing a meeting during which several agreements were signed with USTDA on today, the chandra babu said the aim of his government is to take Vizag to top position among the 20 smart cities. Chief Minister said US delegates that US team should support us in this endeavour.


Chandra Babu said India having a great demographic dividend particularly for youth is poised to become a superpower, by entering into strategic partnership with countries like the US which are more advanced in technology would certainly boost the prospects of Andhra Pradesh Development, commented that the recently concluded Partnership Summit and the International Fleet Review drew the attention of the world.

Chief Minister said he recently asked the Gadkari (Minister for Road Transport Highways and Shipping) to lay an expressway from Vizag to Mumbai to give a fillip to the industries. Andhra Pradesh has potential to become number one in the country as it has a vast pool of resources, Chandra Babu added Speaking on the occasion, USTDA, Director, Leocadia I Zak stated the agency was proud of its collaboration with Andhra Pradesh. Leocadia I Zak said that we will help in advancing one of India’s highest economic development priorities by bringing together the right private sector expertise and committed partners. The opportunities for growth are limitless, also said US companies were ready to invest 1.3 billion dollars in the State.
