PM Modi said that asserting that development of the country’s eastern region was his government’s ‘core priority’ by taking a jibe at the former UPA regime said that development should have reached the region long back. In his address after dedicating the Brahmaputra Cracker and Polymer Limited at Lepetkata in Assam to the nation, Modi said that projects inaugurated by him today, offer immense employment opportunities to the people of the state. The development of eastern parts of India is a core priority for our government because that is the way to all round development. The nation will not develop if North-East does not develop, said by Prime Minister.
