In Andhra Pradesh state YSRCP legislators are stated to be in a dilemma over the TDP strategy to attract them. The future of the two principal parties (TDP and YSRCP) is likely to be decided on February 28, with media reports stating that CM Chandrababu has fixed the ‘muhurtam’ on that day for admission of eight YSRCP legislators. The reports indicate that at least five MLAs of YSRCP are ready to defect. The eight MLAs include five from Kurnool district and one each from Krishna, Guntur and Kadapa. With the TDP and YSRCP involved in the process of attracting their rivals, there are chances of the Congress becoming the cynosure of all eyes. If this really happens, there is likelihood of Shabana gaining politically in the 2019 elections.
