Intense heat waves prevailing in
Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The Meterological Department (MET) has issued
heat wave warning for Andhra Pradesh and Telangana states over next two days.
According to the Meterological Department, Hyderabad heat wave conditions are
very likely to be powerful over Telangana's Hyderabad, Adilabad, Rangareddy,
Medak, Karimanagar, Khammam, Nizamabad, Mahabubnagar, Nalgonda, and
Warangal districts on April-20th and
21st. In Andhra Pradesh Chittoor, Anantapur,
Kurnool and Kadapa. Adilabad and Nizamabad districts recorded at 43.3°C.
Hanamkonda recorded highest temperature 42.6°C , Medak and Nalgonda recorded at
41.4°C. Hyderabad recorded at 39.2°C. In Rayalaseema, Anantapur recorded the
highest temperature of 42.5°C, Kurnool recorded 42.4°C.
The Telangana government has
advised the labour and employment department to make ensure that outdoor
workers are not to work between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. Weathermen have predicted
that the two telugu states may get a cessation from heat waves on arrival of
monsoon. They forecasts say that maximum temperature will remain two to three
degrees above normal in coming days. The indicative of thunderstorm condition
clouds likely to be formed from time to time may trigger flash rains,
hailstorm, providing temporary cessation from the heat.
