A group terrorists are firing at security forces from inside a government institute in Pampore, which is 15 km away from Srinagar, the capital of Jammu and Kashmir. Sources says that terrorists who indigent into the institute in morning approached the campus on the suburbia of Srinagar through boats on the River Jhelum, which flows in Pakistan. The terrorists then set sections of the Entrepreneurship Development Institute (EDI) hostel building on fire to allure security forces. When they arrived, a major gun battle was broke out. Explosions were heard since the morning. Intel agencies have been warning of terror attacks in react on for the surgical strikes conducted by Indian security forces across the Line of Control (LoC). Soldiers assault staging areas in POK where terrorists were waiting to cross the border and attack major cities, the army sources said.
