India is set to withdraw its two
officials from the Indian high commission in Islamabad after Pakistani media divulge
their identities for being reportedly involved in seditious activities. Balbir
Singh and Rajesh Agnihotri, the two Indian embassy officials in Pakistan will
be removed most likely before they are declared 'persona non-grata' by
Pakistan. The two officials were been identified and their photographs were
being flashed repeatedly by different Pakistani TV news channels today. The Geo
TV claimed that Rajesh Agnihotri was directly linked with RAW while Balbir was
working for Intelligence Bureau (IB) and they were apparently using their
positions in Pakistan as cover to hide their real identities. It claimed that
Balbir Singh was also running a network of militants in Pakistan and oust high
commission official Surjeet Singh was also part of his network.
