After the passage of Cyclone
another a strong weather system has been developed in Bay of Bengal. Presently
seen as a well marked low pressure area in south-east Bay of Bengal the system
is likely to increase into a depression anytime soon. Moving at a fast stride it
will continue to travel in northwest direction towards coastal andhra till
November 4th. Thereafter the system is likely to recurve and take northerly
route for a brief period before moving in north-northeastwards along the east
coast of India.
The Rains and thundershowers are
expected to increase over coastal areas of Andhra Pradesh and Odisha from November
3 onwards. On November 4, we can expect moderate to heavy showers over the
region. By November 5th Coastal Odisha and Gangetic West Bengal may receive
heavy to very heavy rains as the system will move further north. As the sea
conditions will also be rough to very rough, the fishermen are advised against rove
out in the sea.
