In Odisha Congress workers led by
Suresh Routray (Senior Party Leader) showed black flags at Master Canteen when
Suresh Prabhu Visited Bhubaneswar Railway Station on sunday to launch Google's
free Wi-Fi service. Sources said around
100 Congress workers entered the railway station shouting slogans. Odisha
Police has arrested more than 15 congress workers and youth congress members
while protesting Railway minister Suresh Prabhu's Visit to Odisha for shifting
wagon factory from Kalahandi District. The decision of Shifting of wagon
factory from Kalahandi to Vizag, Andhra Pradesh has been catchted a political
strom in the state. This month congress and other organisations called bundh in
Kalahandi, which forced Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik to write letter to
Suresh Prabhu. Yesterday, Suresh Prabhu announced that a
Joint Verification Group (JVG) will be formed jointly by Railway Ministry and
Odisha government to verify the feasibility of establishment of Wagon Factory
in Kalahandi and Ganjam District.
