Apple Inc plans to open its first retail store in South Korea, which is home sward of opponent smartphone manufacturer Samsung Electronics Co. Apple Inc, said on friday that the company is peppy about opening first Apple Store in South Korea, applauding the country as a leader in telecommunication and technology. The People amicable with the concern said in September that the company had looked at the sites in upscale Gangnam neighborhood in Seoul.
The budding location is within a
stone's hurl of Samsung longtime headquarters in Gangnam, where Samsung has a three-story global
flagship store. The Apple was also searching for a site
on the fashionable Garosu-gil shopping street in the neighborhood.
