The movie 'Tubelight' that shows the values of family, beliefs and patriotism doesn't manage to take a complete vault of credence because somewhere someone couldn't pull this one off real. In the movie Salman Khan laughs and cries unself consciously, untangle the lesser-seen side of his virile image. He cannot move mountains with his performance but he manages to keep the faith alive. Sohail is sincere. Zhu Zhu shows spunk and young Matin entertains. Tubelight has opened well at around 35-40% on average across India in the morning shows as per early report published on boxofficeindia.com. Bollywood Star Salman Khan is praying not to get the girl of his dream, Salman is praying that even 2016 passes away adding one more year to this bachelor status. In a press conference in Surat Salman Khan said that he is praying and making an effort to stay single and not tie the knot. Salman Khan's fans in Surat had made a long cake of 400 ft to celebrate his 50th birthday on December 27.  Supreme Court has extended the hearing of Salman Khan’s 2002 hit-and-run case to Friday February 12, 2016. The bench was responding to the fresh appeal filed in the case by the Maharashtra state government but now 2-days before the hearing, the family of Noorullah Khan, who was killed in the accident has moved Supreme Court to challenge Salman Khan’s acquittal. Earlier, Noorullah Khan’s son said Indian Express that i forgive Salman khan but now i don’t know who killed my father. It has been 13 years since the incident happen even today, the question remains unanswered for me. The verdict has not brought any closure. In my view, his act was not intentional. It was an accident, and my father happened to be the unfortunate victim the sentencing serves no purpose.

Superstar Salman Khan could not have asked for more. This year has undoubtedly been splendid for him.

Both the movies he has been a part of, have managed to rake in billions at the box office. The Kabir Khan directorial ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ struck an emotional chord with the audiences and went on to earn a whooping Rs 300.06 crores.

‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’, his second release is nearing  Rs.200 crore mark in India. The Hindi version of “Prem Ratan Dhan Payo”, which released on November 12, a day after the auspicious occasion of Diwali, has collected Rs.193.22 crore after the second week of its release, read a statement.

The film is running successfully in theatres and has collected a total of Rs.20.4 crore in its second weekend.

With these mind-blowing collections, Salman Khan has become the undisputed ruler of the box office. He has become the only superstar whose movies earned a total of Rs 500 crores in a single year.

As soon as this news broke, Salman fans trended #Salman1stToCross500crInAYear on micro blogging website Twitter.

The love filled tweets are a testimony that Salman’s fans will always adore him. While Bajrangi Bhaijaan pleased the critics, Prem Ratan Dhan Payo was welcomed with harsh reviews.

It seems Salman’s die hard fans don’t care much about what critics say about his movies which is why PRDP became one of the highest grossing movies of 2015.

With such a high benchmark, let us see how Salman’s upcoming ‘Sultan’ fares at the box office next year.
