It's a common practice for any chief minister, ministers or any political authority to get the bureaucrats fall in their line by threatening them with stringent actions or transfers to loop lines or remote areas. But AP CM Chandrababu is following quite a different strategy to bring defiant officials into his control.
Chandrababu Naidu is reportedly warning the officers and bureaucrats, who contradict his orders, by threatening them that he would make some newspapers write against them so that they would be blamed without much difficulty. According to sources, in a latest high level meeting with government officials of Andhra Pradesh, Chandrababu Naidu had warned officials this way.

Recently, some newspapers carried stories about an IAS officer who worked in some crucial departments including TTD being not happy as he was not given the right posting. Irked by this news, Chandrababu himself managed some news by giving leaks to a particular newspaper and also said that he could make some news on the officials. By this unexpected reaction from CM, all the officials are dismayed and are expressing their anguish over the CM's 'media threat'.
