India and Bangladesh mutually decided to construct a bridge over Mizoram's Khawthlangtuipui river. The bridge will be useful to smooth the trade and improve communication between the two nations. Bangladesh official Rowshan Ara Khanam, 'The proposed bridge would be an important linkage between India and Bangladesh. The Bangladesh government has taken a number of steps to make it a reality.'

Bangladeshi Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina had given approval to construct the bridge. The Mamit district is vicinal to Khagrachari district of Chittagong hill region of south-east Bangladesh. It has been proposed that the location of the bridge will be closer to the nearest land custom station in the Bangladesh side. Mizoram shares a 318 km un-fenced border with Bangladesh.

India succeeded against  Bangladesh by 9 wickets and entered the final of the ICC Champions Trophy 2017, where both the teams plat at the Oval in London on Sunday. Rohit Sharma (123 not out), Shikhar Dhawan (46) and captain Virat Kohli (96 not out) played exceptionally well to take India home at Edgbaston on Thursday. The upcoming scheduled 'SAARC Summit' in Pakistan has been cancelled as India, some other member countries have boycotted the host nation, media reports said today. In the wake of heightened tension with Pakistan over Uri terror attack in which 18 Army Jawans were killed, India had wrench out of the Summit on Tuesday night citing increased 'Cross border' attacks. Today Bangladesh, Afghanistan and Bhutan also pulled out of the Summit by blaming Pakistan for creating an environment which is not right for the successful holding of the meet, resulting in its crumble. Bangladesh categorically cited the growing interference in its internal affairs by one country (Pak) has created an environment which is not unfavorable to the successful hosting of the SAARC Summit. Afghanistan cited Terrorism in the Region for its abstention. All the four countries fetched their decision to SAARC Chair Nepal.

Heavy rains wiping parts of Andhra Pradesh and Odisha the India Meteorological Department has issued a cyclone warning for both the states. Winds are expected to be hit speeds of 100 km per hour in Odisha, where 12 districts are on alert. The chief ministers of both states have directed authorities to be prepared to face the storm.Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu directed officials to open relief camps and evict people from vulnerable areas. Navin Patnaik has directed collectors and district administrations to keep food and drinking water supplies and medical support ready.

CM Chandra Babu said State Disaster Response, National Disaster Response Force and fire service personnel should focus on rescue operations wherever required, clear all uprooted trees and electric poles for free flow of traffic and steady power supply. Roanu remained over the Bay of Bengal on about 440 km southwest Gopalpur district, Odisha. It is expected to move north-eastwards along and cross over the coast of South Bangladesh between the night of May-21st and early May22nd after debilitate.

But Mahmudullah also gives catch and Bangladesh need 2 off 1. On the last ball Shuvagata misses the ball and goes for a run but Dhoni runs and hits the stump. Mustafizur Rahman doesn't reach the crease and in replay, he is given run out. India win the match by a run. Hat-trick in the last over is a miracle. Bangladesh was well played, good efforts by the team. They have loosed but they have created sweet in the Indian faces. The match was very exciting and thrill.  Match proves that good team work & well laid out strategy can turn any game in your favour..!

India are currently in 4th behind Australia in Group-2 and a big result against Bangladesh today will ease their qualification burden ahead of a potentially slippery meeting with Steve Smith's side in Mohali on Sunday.

India has began exporting diesel to Bangladesh via rail with the roll-out of first consignment from Siliguri. A goodwill rail rake consignment carrying diesel from Siliguri marketing terminal of Numaligarh Refineries Ltd (NRL) was flagged off on Thursday, an official said. The supply of 2200 tons (2700 kilolitre) diesel of BS III of Euro-III Grade with 350 PPM sulfur content will travel by rail from Siliguri to Parbatipur storage depot of Bangladesh Petroleum Corporation (BPC) in Bangladesh. From Siliguri, the 42 wagons (each with a capacity of 64 kl) rail consignment will travel over 516 km (253 km in India and 263 km in Bangladesh) on the existing railway line via Rangapani, Singabad, Rohanpur to reach Parbatipur on March 19. Presently Bangladesh has requirement of petroleum products through imports at Chittagong port. The products are subsequently transported to the rest of the country using river route.

But Soumya darts into the frame, running to his left, extends to his full height and takes it with both hands. Oh, but there's more. The momentum takes him over the boundary, so he pops the ball up as high as he can, moves back inside the boundary line and ends up having to reach full length to reclaim the catch..
