CM Chandrababu Naidu inaugurated the state interim government secretariat at Velagapudi village, Amaravati. Chief Minister signed a file to waive of loan for farmers on this occasion. Naidu said the government will begin operations from Amaravati region from June-15. The construction of the government secretariat has been going on at a speedy pace to meet the deadline. The Chief Minister announced a five-day working week for employees who come to work at Velagapudi from Hyderabad and they would be paid an additional 30% as house rent allowance (HRA). In the Phase-1 govt will build 5,000 houses for the employees within a span of year in the Amaravati. More number of houses will be built in the subsequent phases. Chandra Babu also announced additional 50 square yards of land to farmers of the region who gave their lands for development of the new capital.

A bill passed favoring Andhra Pradesh MLAs and MLCs having some great news. An MLA salary is currently INR 95000 and they are planning to increase it by INR 1,50,000. Also the house rental allowance (HRA) is going to be increased from INR 25000 to INR 50000. And pension will be doubled from INR 25000 to INR 50000. Loan for car has increased from INR 1,00,000 to INR 25 lakh. The railway coupon amount is increased to INR 1,00,000. Also for Book rental, purchase allowance they are going to get about INR 1,00,000. CM Chandrababu Naidu in an innovative way increase the salaries of MLAs and MLCs but not the perfect price per ton of rice to Farmer. The lawmakers are also likely to be given gift vouchers to purchase iPhones.

The Andhra Pradesh Assembly’s Budget session beginning tomorrow, session would have 18 working days Speaker Sivaprasad said here yesterday. The Budget is expected to be presented on March 10. The YSR Congress is anger with TDP as eight of its MLAs crossing over to the TDP and its MLA RK Roja suspended for one year in the previous session for her alleged unparliamentary comments against TDP members including Chief Minister Chandrababu. 
YSRC deputy leader in the Assembly Jyothula Nehru had said they might move a no-confidence motion if the state Budget is not satisfactory. TDP government so far failed to keep its promises and has been adopting anti-people policies. If the Budget is not satisfactory we will move a no-confidence motion against the government. We may also move a no-confidence motion against Assembly Speaker Sivaprasada, Nehru said after a meeting of the YSRC Legislature Party on March-1.

In Andhra Pradesh Assembly, the opposition members today boycotted the rest of the Winter Session as the Government refused their proposals to continue discussion over Call Money Sex Racket issue and revoke year-long suspension against actor -turned Politician Roja.

Leader of the Opposition YS Jaganmohan Reddy announced this in the Assembly and led the opposition YSR Congress party members out of the House. He said Roja’s suspension was against rules and wanted the discussion over call money issue to be continued for which the Government refused saying it was concluded.

The YSR Congress member Roja was suspended for an year on Friday last for her repeated usage of unparliamentary words against Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu. The the 5-day short Winter Session will be concluding tomorrow.

Legislative Affairs Minister Ramakrishnudu made it clear that the Government will not consider revoking the suspension on Roja. Speaker Dr Shivaprasad Rao also said the suspension was within the framework of the Assembly rules and the opposition can approach even the Courts.

 Speaker Kodela Sivaprasad Rao suspended B Sivaprasad Reddy and D Ramalingeswara Rao alias Raja for two days, for obstructing the cameras meant for showing the House proceedings. 
Two members of YSR Congress were today suspended from Andhra Pradesh Assembly for two days after the Opposition party stalled the House proceedings on the issue of ‘call money’ racket.

Speaker K Sivaprasad Rao suspended B Sivaprasad Reddy and D Ramalingeswara Rao alias Raja for two days, for obstructing the cameras meant for showing the House proceedings.

Legislative Affairs Minister Y Ramakrishnudu, who moved a motion for suspension of the two members, said obstructing the cameras is against the democratic principles of letting people know the proceedings of the Legislature.

The YSR Congress stalled the proceedings seeking a debate on the alleged ‘call money’ racket, pertaining to harassment and exploitation of borrowers by private money lenders after providing loan on call.

The racket, in which names of people with political connections cropped up, came to light in Vijayawada and police conducted searches across the state on private money lenders.

The Speaker rejected the adjournment motion given by YSR Congress for a debate on the issue and sought to take up scheduled debate.

The YSRCP members, however, stood in the well of the House and raised slogans against the TDP government.As the din continued, the Speaker adjourned the House twice but the situation did not improve.

Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu said he would make a statement tomorrow on the ‘call money’ issue and sought to speak on Constitution and the contribution of B R Ambedkar to its making.

 The Legislative Affairs Minister attacked Opposition leader and YSRCP President Y S Jaganmohan Reddy for not letting the House debate on as noble an issue as Constitution and Ambedkar.
As the Opposition members continued to insist on a debate on the ‘call money’ issue, the Speaker adjourned the House for the day.

Ap Assembly: Andhra Pradesh Speaker Kodela Siva Prasada Rao adjourns house proceedings for 15 minutes amid slogan shouting by YSRCP MLAs. 9.40 a.m. TDP Whips Yamini Bala, M. Mallikarjun & K Ravikumar ask YS. Jagan Mohan Reddy to quit terming him a factionist.and ask him to behave responsibly in the House. 10.05 A.M.: The Assembly has not been re-convened even after 30 minutes of adjournment, though the Speaker had adjourned it only for 15 minutes.

The second day of Andhra Pradesh Assembly Monsoon session began amid slogan raising by main Opposition YSRC Party MLAs demanding suspension of all items on agenda and discussing `Special Category Status' for Andhra Pradesh issue.
