The reports indicate that at least five MLAs of YSRCP are ready to defect. The eight MLAs include five from Kurnool district and one each from Krishna, Guntur and Kadapa. With the TDP and YSRCP involved in the process of attracting their rivals, there are chances of the Congress becoming the cynosure of all eyes. If this really happens, there is likelihood of Shabana gaining politically in the 2019 elections.
